Business Objectives:
Faced with limited brand awareness and a modest web site budget, OpenTV needed to increase brand awareness and attribution for its broad IPTV software portfolio. It also wanted the site to generate qualified sales leads for their national sales force.
Strategic Recommendation::
Increase site utilization for clients, media and employees with new design and architecture that attracts, encourages interaction and motivates site visitors to contact OpenTV’s sales team.
Implementation:
An interactive Flash promo was designed for the home page to attract attention to new product launches. The main navigation incorporated a sub-menu to quickly promote the breadth of OpenTV’s IPTV solutions. “Products and Services” presentations were created to guide visitors to the best solution for their interactive TV needs. “Solution” options were established targeting specific industries. A Support area communicated the company’s leading edge expertise, training options and customer support services.

OpenTV indicated that the site re-design had a very positive impact on site utilization as well as enthusiastic feedback from customers and employees.
